Week One down

I have been at SCOS for one week now. We have not gotten any of our prework back yet. We are of course learning a lot from Mickey Efird. We have three new professors this year, so getting to know them and what they expect and their views is much of the first week. Can't say for sure if this is happening.
We have at least three students who were unable to attend last year and have joined our class as third year students. We seem to have lost only one from second year. Of course, there are always mixed year students who come and go, some you meet, some you don't.
The regular groups are still together. I had lunch with two groups (two times/one meal!) yesterday and then attended movie night and went for dessert with a group. We are going to a ten year old church plant tomorrow pastored by one of our professors (evangelism).
Speaking of evangelism, the working definition for this class is so far beyond my definition and what I've been preaching this last year, it's crazy. However, the last three sermons I preached before I left were searching for the answers I think I will get in this class. God is Good!!
