3:16

I'm not a big reader of popular Christian writers, but I saw a suggestion in a leadership magazine to use Max Lucado's 3:16 as a sermon series after Easter. Well, I checked the book out of the library, read it, and decided to not do six sermons, but three. I did week two yesterday and they absolutely loved the part about trading hearts with Jesus - we do not become like Jesus, but we have his heart and thus are sin free. God only has one child and it's not us, but by changing hearts with Jesus, we can become like him. But all this is prefaced upon the fact that we recognize that we are sinful creatures who need a savior.
