Well, I got an A on my close reading! It was a first try and only worth 5% of our total grade, so I'm thinking there was a lot of grace. However, her notes indicated she like my presentation and flow, but since I had such a grasp of what I wanted to express my opening and closing paragraphs should have been more indepth. I'll have to remember this for the second one. Our midterm has been moved back. We are having problems getting through the material on the early church from Ignateus through Augustine.
Tomorrow we have a test in our Hebrew Bible class. I don't want to be overly confident as I was last year in the Pastor as Interpreter class (which I almost failed!), but I do think I will do well there also.

Hi Jackie, I have enjoyed reading the updates on how your liscensing school is going. The origonal thought piece especially, I am with you, just tell me what you want and I will figure out a way to get it done, but be origonal? Maybe it is like tweaking a recipe, like making a better or just different twist on a grilled cheese sandwich. That is how I always approached the origonal dilemma. It's hard to be creative too when you are so pressured and under the gun. You don't have time to dream. I will be praying for your stamina and for the little one at home who must be missing his momma.
thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Jack, however, is at grandmas out in the county. He goes down to summer rec for some kid time, plays in the creek and at the pond, rides his jeep and bicycle. Plus visiting all the relatives. He may miss me, but he's very busy and loving being a country boy!
